In this Benefice we take safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults very seriously
 
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility
 
The care and protection of children, young people and adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the Church.
 
If a child or adult is at immediate risk of significant harm, in the first instance you should always contact the Barnsley social services teams (details below) or the police (call 999). You must then inform our Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser (DSA) :-
